Let's talk about

Engagement Sessions

Be yourself, and be comfortable! Those are the most important things to keep in mind when choosing your outfits for your engagement session. I don't mean roll up in your comfiest sweatpants, but you don't need to wear a dress if you're "not a dress person". If you're wearing an outfit that makes you feel comfortable, and confident, you'll be able to focus on being in the moment for the photos, and you wont be worrying about what you look like. I recommend bringing a pair of flats if you plan to wear heels, as we do a lot of walking. Try to keep patterns to only one of you, as it can become too distracting otherwise. If you need outfit help? Send me pictures and I can say yay or nay and be your closet friend!

Along the same lines as your outfits, think about places around the city that mean the most to you. Where did you have your first date, where did you get engaged, what do you enjoy doing on a weekend? We can go get a coffee, or a pint at a craft brewery. Take a stroll through a beautiful park that you walk your dog every Sunday morning. Champagne pops, pups, and pizza are always welcome. If you're feeling stuck, don't hesitate to reach out and we can brainstorm some location options together!
